The validity of your home’s insurances can depend heavily on regular maintenance. Proof of regular home maintenance is particularly important if you have to make a home insurance claim.

Yes, the majority of park home insurance and warranty providers insist that you repaint your home with the manufacturers’ recommended products. This should be carried out prior to your home becoming two years old, then repainted at three year intervals thereafter.  Failing to comply will result in a claim being refused on the grounds of having a lack of maintenance carried out.

This is not necessarily true. While it will prevent the refusal of your claim when it comes to the exterior of your home, it will not cover you for having a lack of maintenance carried out on the rest of your home.
